The survey audience that was polled included undergraduate engineering students at the University of Maryland. The majority of these engineering students were pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. A total of 21 students were polled in this survey and about half of the students polled had previously worked at NASA. Furthermore, a high percentage of students in the survey had previously obtained an internship. Consequently, the polls represent student intern opinions on the questions asked.
